  2. I am so sorry for your loss. So very sorry. It sounds like you have a wonderful family, and that it was very special for you all to be with your MIL in her last days. Losing someone you love doesn't get easier, and my heart is with you.

I hope that this IVF is successful and brings some joy back into everyone's lives. Take care!

  5. I'm so sorry to hear of your MIL's passing. It's good to hear she was surrounded by her family and loved ones at the end. My heart goes out to all of you.

Best of luck with your first IVF! My husband's parents gave us a little money to help pay for IVF. They really wanted to do it, and could afford it, so we let them help us out. I think parents just really want to help out their kids when they can - they see their savings sitting there in a bank, not necessarily doing anyone any good, and want to put it to good use. It's up to you though to do what you feel comfortable with. It can be hard to take money from relatives.

  6. I was actually checking your blog yesterday to make sure I hadnt missed anything going on with you. I am very sorry about your MIL and you are absolutely right about smoking. I smoked for almost 15 years and am scared to death that it will come back to get me in the future.

I am wishing you the best with your upcoming ivf and hopefully soon there will be a rainbow at the end of the storm.

  9. Oh Ali, I am so sorry to hear about your mother in law. I figured something really bad was happening since you've been away for so long. What a blessing that you all got to talk to her before she passed and were at her bedside when she did. My deepest condolences to you and Chop. I'm glad to hear you're still going forward with IVF this cycle. I think it will help the both of you to have this to focus on as a shared goal. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!
