  1. I'm glad that all is going well with your cycle. By day 5 of stims, I felt so much activity in my follicles. If you see that you have a lot of follicles growing, go ahead and start a diet with OHSS in mind. Due to my age and body size, they were pretty sure that I would have some OHSS issues. I'm now on day 3 in the hospital. =( By no means do I want to scare you, but I would not want to wish this on my worst enemy. This pain has been worse than how I felt after my past two uterine septum removal/endometriosis surgeries. They've drained over 5 liters of fluid from my abdomen already. Just take care of yourself! I can't wait to see how you're responding! And again, I did not intend to try and scare you. Just take care of yourself!

  2. I'm glad things are going so well Mrs. Puffy McPuff! I know what you mean about the bloating being similar to after a laparoscopy. I hadn't thought about that comparison before, but you're totally right.

Thankfully recovery after egg retrieval is not nearly so bad as recovery after laparoscopy - at least for me it wasn't. Especially this last time. My fingers are still crossed for you! Hang in there!

  3. Glad its going well. The bloating is quite normal and as you get closer to retrieval you may get aching in ovaries. I did not have any of the crazy mood swings/irrational behaviour either. I felt quite normal emotionally.

  5. Glad it's all going well! I felt bloated and twingy too.... it means it's working. As per Courts comment though, just ask your docs to be vigilant with the scans and with monitoring for OHSS.
