  1. Pineapple core, walnuts, and three seasons of Breaking Bad (meaning a lot of lying around mindlessly and not thinking about IF). I thought it might have worked when I had a LOT of early cramping. Good luck!!!!

  2. For me.. (even though it's early days and I'm praying I don't jinx things & that baby Jag stays where it's supposed to!) it was this: 'It must have worked this time because of the 5-day transfer'. Really, that was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, and it was hatching! Hatching! Surely that meant this emby wanted to implant.

  4. I've been seeing a lot of success with FETs lately. In fact, in the most recent statistics on the CDC website, FETs have a higher success rate than fresh cycles!

The only thing I did differently (well, other than the fact that it was my first FET) was that I was drinking green smoothies every day. I don't know if it helped or not, but they're nice and healthy and can't hurt! Just Google 'green smoothie' and you'll get tons of recipes.

Also, I think my RE has a lot to do with the success. I've had three transfers now, two done by her and both of those transfers resulted in BFPs. I always feel more relaxed when she's around, and this time the transfer went sooooo smoothly and quickly. DH and I both had a good feeling about it from transfer day onward, and I also had early cramping which was my first physical symptom.

Wishing you tons of luck! I'm jealous that you're getting to do a natural FET.

  5. Here from ICLW. I honestly wish I knew the secret. I think the biggest thing, outside of doing what others have suggested above, is also to 'believe' that this is possible. To know that you've done everything possible to make this work and that this can happen. I spent a lot of time with the Circle + Bloom program and visualized my embryos implanting and thinking about the future. When I had the most hope was when the ccles worked.

Wishing you all of the best and hoping you get fantastic/joyous news very soon.

  6. Good luck with the FET! I appreciate the explanation, cause I was never sure *exactly* what that meant! Sending you lots of good vibes and positive thinking!

  7. What I felt helped us: Progesterone support was drastically increased on my FET, and I really believe that's what did it. I had had chemicals in the past that didn't hang on, but this time it did.
The moment I found out it had worked: I was mad. Really, I was! I had been there before, congraulated by my RE, celebrated for a week, only to find an empty sac at the 6wk u/s. After going through that, my instinct to protect my heart kicked in. I took me until the 9 week mark to bring down my guard after seeing two u/s's and finally let myself believe in it.

Wishing you all the best with your FET!

  8. Following my doctor's orders to the letter. Listening to the Circle + Bloom program to ease my anxiety. Spending lots of time with family and friends the month prior to starting the cycle. Letting my closest friends in on the IVF journey and getting them all to pray for/think of me. I really feel those positive vibes helped, if anything to keep me calm and confident. I also thought it worked because of early cramping.

  9. I tried to post yesterday, but it wouldn't save, so I'm hoping it will today!! First off, good luck :-) Secondly for me: I really believe that my attitude had a lot to do with it. I went in positive, at peace with the outcome either way. I felt that God was part of the decision to move forward, and I prayed a lot. I went in more relaxed and so accepting. I relaxed the day of transfer, and that was it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

  10. Drinking warm water, keeping my hands and feet warm, cut down on sugar and red meats. Drank green tea....no tea, chai lattes or hot chocs. Cut down on milk. Ate only warm foods. I kinda got into Chinese medicine ideas. Borrowed a couple of books from the library about it.

  11. If I get a BFP with my FET cycle in September, I will be due June 15th! How fun it would be to share pregnancy with one of my bloggy friends!

I love this post BTW. I might have to do something similar as I get further into my cycle. : )
