  1. Fb can be evil! I mainly use mine for chatting with friends in our private group and that is where he majority of my update are. Take the time out, fb & ivf don't mix

  2. FB is terrible when you're in the midst of a cycle. All of the pregnancy status updates and ultrasound pictures. Blah! I've never deactivated my account, but I do hide all of the people who annoy me and who are pregnant. =) With that being said, I have tried to remember what hurt me when I was TTC and not do any of those things on FB now that I am pregnant. I still hide the other pregos, and will NEVER post an ultrasound picture of my little one of FB!

  3. I am with you! I am so over FB right now... Sometimes it's just better to avoid it!

  4. My main uses for FB is to stay in-touch with overseas friends and my massive family of cousins. Sometimes I can be healthy with it and I avoid it when I am low, other times it is an instrument of torture with which I beat myself round the head. I am not good at blocking or de-friending though, I tend to just not go on for a bit.

  5. In all honesty, FB has gone down hill. Basically all it is now consists of pregnancy diaries, partying diaries, relationship diaries and alot of those stupid pin posters that everyone uses. I am honestly thinking about deleting my account. Just not a healthy place for me anymore.

  6. You could just have Chop change your password and set a date for when he'll give it back to you. Then you can't be tempted to access it and you won't have to deactivate the account.

  7. I drop kicked my FB last February and it has been marvelous. My husband is friends with my family members so he keeps in touch for me. I am thinking of coming back at some point, but I will for sure cull my friend list down to... well... actual friends.

  8. I've deactivated my FB account a time or two...and it felt great. I felt like I was eliminating the drama from my life because too many people use it to post things that create drama (intentionally and unintentionally). I have no problem deactivating FB again in the future if I feel like it, and I have no problem with others who go that route as well.
