  1. I think this is good news! Things are moving along for you. I hope that you get that 7am appointment on Monday, and I think it's an excellent idea to take the day off work. It can only be good for your spirit to relax at home for the day. Fingers crossed!

  2. OPKs confuse the mess outta me! I always have a second line, but sometimes it's lighter, darker, or the same. I'm excited to see how it all comes together for your natural FET cycle. =) Mine has seriously been much easier than my IVF cycle back in June!

  3. Wow! That's one very positive OPK!

I'm not sure what clinics do about testing if they're closed a day. Are you temping at all? That would give you an extra way of knowing for sure if you ovulated.

    Good luck!

    1. Yes I've been temping for about 10 months, and am seriously looking forward to the time when I won't bother doing it anymore. haha.

  4. Haha! Us infertiles will take two pink lines anyway we can get them. ;) Yay for a positive OPK!

As far as getting the day off work, I don't like being dishonest either but I figure a little white lie here and there is ok because this stuff is none of your coworkers' business. Maybe say you have a migraine or a sore throat or something? I find the migraine excuse most useful.

    1. Hmmm I've never had a migraine before... Aaaaaah! I don't know if that'd work. It's so tricky because my Director is a workaholic and still works even when he's sick, so he is always suspicious when anyone else shows signs of weakness. Or maybe that's just my interpretation of him!

  5. FYI - an OPK is considered positive when the second line is AS dark or darker than the test line. Sometimes they can be ridiculously hard to read.
    Blasted things.
    Fingers crossed for you!
