  1. Isn't it amazing how quick and easy transfers are? Well, not easy emotionally.. but in a time sense!!!

I'm so happy for you, you made it through this FET experience. Now to cross our fingers and wait! How old was your emby? (I'm nosey and like to know how long your TWW will be!)

    1. Thanks Aly! Hoping this one is successful like yours! So I had two 5-day blastocysts that made it to freeze after my fresh IVF cycle in July, and we only transferred 1 today. It's weird how this embryo inside me now was actually created on 5th July!! Anyway, I'm booked in for my results next Friday 12th October. Hoping it's a fast 2ww, (but we all know it won't be).

    2. It's weird, but also awesome. We have 2 frosties as well - I just hope that they make it to thaw when the time comes

Hoping the next little while goes by quickly for you. Will you cheat and pee on a stick, or wait until your results? xx

    3. I'm going to wait for the blood test on Friday 12th. No point driving myself crazy with POAS tests, when the real answer is all in the vampire needle!

  13. Aw, I loved reading your transfer story. I could feel your excitement through your post. I was surprised to read that they didn't have you lay down for a while after your transfer though. My RE's office has me lay in the transfer room for 10 minutes after the transfer, then another 30 minutes in the recovery room. And then 48 hours of bed rest after that. No bed rest for you? I guess every clinic is different!

Praying for your embryo to stick around for about 9 more months!

    1. I really like the no fuss way my clinic handles things. They just said that I should take it easy on transfer day, but I can begin normal activities including exercise as soon as i feel like it. I actually think that this relaxed approach helps patients relax more because there's less rules to worry about getting right. There's enough pressure on us during a cycle, so I think it's important to behave as normally as possible.
