  1. Whenever you feel ready is the right time. That is what I think. As long as you have a few bits and bobs by the ninth month I recon you will be ok!

  2. This is so true! I went through this same difficult transition and I don't think I ever really thought about it until now. I don't think I fully accepted the pregnancy until our anatomy scan at 19 weeks! I know time feels short, but really - you have so much time. After a while it's going to start dragging and all you'll be able to think about is wanting to meet your baby, and then realize it's still 4 months away. At least, that's how I'm feeling. I think babies need a lot less than our consumer society tells us they do. DH and I have been acquiring things slowly - buying a lot of used things (checking on recalls of course) and are pretty well set at this point. I can't believe you're almost to the second tri! :) So happy for you!

  3. Sometimes I feel like Brandon and I are still in a phase of transition. We really haven't bought anything, but we still have no idea on the gender (until the end of the month.) We picked out a boy name over a year ago, and just recently decided on a girl name. I was constantly worried that this miracle pregnancy would be taken from us in the beginning. We hit so many obstacles along the way and I felt almost guilty for everything with our FET cycle just falling into place. It's amazing how you could fall in love with a child that is still so small and tucked away within you. Wishing you all the best, Ali, and hoping that planning for the days ahead will become easier. I think it takes us all a bit of time in the transition from infertility to pregnancy.

  4. Second trimester? I am so beyond happy for you. I bet everything will start falling into place, starting with your next scan. Everyday you are pregnant and your baby is growing healthy and strong
