  1. Oh Ali, I am so happy for you! He is such a cutie, and the whole labor and delivery sound like quite the story. I'm glad the adjustment is going pretty smoothly. I can tell how much you both love him! It's such an exciting time, isn't it?! Big Hugs! Congrats again!!

    1. Never get tired of such compliments haha, thanks Aly. Yeah, that bouncer was given by a friend who has been given two, so I accepted her cast-offs! It's funny because Chop and I pulled out our baby pics to see if we could figure out who Eddie looks like yet, and we both had the same bouncers back in the 70s. Rocking the retro!

    1. Thanks - we obviously agree too. I'm now using my blog to post up pics of him, so I don't clog up Facebook. I personally think there's nothing more annoying than a daily pic of someone's baby on Facebook (but that's just me)... At least I can unleash that 'sharing' urge on my bloggity! Ha ha.

    1. Thanks Allison - I tell ya, I didn't feel it! I remember lying there when the nurse took that photo and thinking how awful I must look because I hadn't seen myself in a mirror for 2 days! Strangely (or purposely), there were zero mirrors in the birthing suites and bathrooms!

  5. Oh my - he is so cute! Congrats again. Glad that you are enjoying motherhood - its the best thing ever.

The birth story was wild, but so glad it all turned out well and you are recovering nicely. Just keep walking and moving around. You look great!

I love how tiny he looks in the car seat, you will be surprised how fast he will fill it out. Too funny about the kitties reactions :-)

    1. Thanks! Tomorrow we're planning our first outing as a family, so that'll probably be the most walking I've done in about 9 days. Can't wait! And with the amount this big baby feeds, I wouldn't be surprised if he looked like a toddler in a month's time! Hehehehe.

  6. I'm glad everything is going well! I think being calm parents leads to clam babies, at least it's been working for us the past 6 weeks :-) He is adorable!
